Tailgating hours
Tailgating starts when the lots open. See each game’s lot times. Tailgating ends at kickoff. Staff ask people still in the lots after kickoff to leave.
Arrive as a group
Cars that arrive apart are not parked side by side. See how directed parking works.
Lot rules
- One car, one space. Keep your setup inside your lined space, plus the area right in front of or behind the car. Tables, chairs, coolers and grills stay in your stall.
- Canopies can be no larger than 8 by 8 feet.
- No amplified sound. Violators can be removed without a refund.
- Keep aisles clear. Don’t block drive aisles, fire lanes, accessible paths or the hash-marked areas next to accessible stalls.
- No outside caterers. You can’t sell food or drinks.
- Vehicle size. See the size limit for a pass.
Portable toilets are placed throughout the lots.
Grills
Barbecues are allowed. The lots have hot-coal containers for dumping coals.
Leave glass at home
Glass is banned in every lot. For alcohol inside the stadium, see the alcohol policy.

Fan club tailgates
Fan clubs run paid tailgates, where a wristband covers food and drink. 3rdRail9ers takes requests on its website, and you pay on arrival. It sets up in lots across from the stadium.
Hilton Santa Clara tailgate zone
Red Zone Rally
The Red Zone Rally is a paid, all-inclusive pregame party run by the stadium. It runs at the Pavilion at Great America for the 3 hours before kickoff. Ticketmaster sells it for all remaining home games.
